   About the Department:

   The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of the National Hospital provides treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders, nervous system diseases, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, and others.

   Physiotherapeutic procedures play an important role in rehabilitation after injuries, surgeries, strokes, and other conditions, helping restore lost functions. The department offers a wide range of services:

1. Electrotherapy: Diadynamic therapy, electrical stimulation, UHF therapy, microwave therapy, darsonvalization, magnetotherapy, galvanization, electrophoresis with medications;
2. Ultrasound therapy: Phonophoresis with medications;
3. Aeroionotherapy: Salt therapy, oxygen therapy, inhalation of medications;
4. Light therapy: UV therapy, laser therapy, Bioptron therapy;
5. Heat therapy: Ozokerite, paraffin;
6. Barotherapy: Pressotherapy;
7. Mechanotherapy: Massage of limbs, head, facial muscles, cervical-collar area, chest, lumbar-sacral region, back, and feet; drainage and lymphatic drainage massage;
8. Dry underwater shower-massage;
9. Hydrocolonotherapy (intestinal irrigation).

   Treatments are performed using PREMIUM-class equipment from leading manufacturers in England (BTL), Spain (Transcom S.L.), Germany (Parimaster), Italy (Cosmogamma), and Japan (Omron). Physiotherapy procedures are conducted not only in the department’s procedure rooms but also at the patient’s bedside.

   The department’s physicians have completed specialization and training in top clinics abroad, including Israel, Turkey, Russia, and South Korea.
