About the Department
The National Hospital operates a modern Department of Ultrasound and Functional Diagnostics equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring high-quality examinations and diagnostic accuracy.
A wide range of diagnostic procedures is performed here, enabling early detection of pathologies, comprehensive assessment of organ and system function, as well as monitoring the effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation.
Main Areas of Activity
Ultrasound examinations of abdominal organs, thyroid and breast glands, and female pelvic organs (including elastography).
Vascular ultrasound and postoperative follow-up monitoring.
4D transesophageal echocardiography in patients with valvular heart disease.
Global longitudinal strain (GLS) of the left ventricle (for patients with arterial hypertension, preserved ejection fraction with signs of heart failure, cardiomyopathies, and those receiving chemotherapy).
Left atrial and right ventricular strain analysis.
Special attention is given to sleep disorder diagnostics. The department includes a Sleep Center, where diagnosis and treatment of snoring and sleep apnea are performed.
The high professional level of the medical staff and the use of advanced technologies make the department one of the Hospital’s key diagnostic centers, where patients can undergo comprehensive examinations.
