   About the Department:

   At the Day Hospital, the length of stay ranges from 3 to 10 days instead of 2–3 weeks, allowing patients to receive many medical services more quickly and in the most comfortable conditions.

   Patients may be referred to the Day Hospital for:

  • Exacerbations of chronic diseases;
  • Surgical treatment;
  • Preventive treatment courses;
  • Intravenous infusion therapy.

   The department employs highly qualified internal medicine physicians with extensive experience. We provide multidisciplinary medical care in the fields of internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, urology, and other specialties, upon referral from relevant specialists.

   The Day Hospital also operates in the evening from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, allowing patients to receive medical services conveniently after working hours. Patients may undergo laboratory testing, instrumental diagnostics, therapeutic procedures, and evaluation of treatment effectiveness.

   Services Provided in the Day Hospital:

  • Comprehensive differentiated treatment using infusion therapy and physiotherapy procedures, with individualized treatment plans according to the patient’s condition;
  • Adjustment of therapy for chronic patients when the course of disease changes;
  • Continuation of treatment for patients discharged early from the 24-hour inpatient department to complete therapy under active supervision;
  • Rehabilitation and comprehensive therapeutic treatment programs.

   Procedures Performed:

  • Intramuscular injections;
  • Intravenous infusions (IV drips);
  • Nebulizer inhalation therapy;
  • Physiotherapy procedures;
  • Specialist consultations — internal medicine physician, pulmonologist, allergist.

   List of Conditions Treated in the Day Hospital:

  1. Acute and chronic respiratory diseases: pharyngitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, COPD.
  2. Cardiovascular diseases: arterial hypertension, coronary artery disease, exertional angina, myocarditis, cerebrovascular diseases, dyscirculatory encephalopathy, atherosclerosis of the lower limb arteries, etc.
  3. Musculoskeletal disorders: osteochondrosis, osteoarthritis, reactive arthritis.
  4. Systemic connective tissue diseases — as prescribed by a rheumatologist.
  5. Neurological diseases — as prescribed by a neurologist (neuritis, neuralgia, encephalopathies of various origins).
  6. Gastrointestinal diseases: exacerbations of chronic pancreatitis, cholecystitis, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, steatohepatitis, enterocolitis (excluding acute intestinal infections).
  7. Genitourinary diseases: exacerbations of chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis (as referred by a urologist), adnexitis (as referred by a gynecologist).
  8. Endocrine diseases — as referred by a specialist (for example, treatment of diabetic complications such as neuropathy, angiopathy, nephropathy).

   Allergy Center at the Day Hospital

   The Allergy Center provides professional care for all allergic diseases. All services are delivered at convenient times by highly qualified and attentive staff.

   Services of the Allergy Center:

  1. Consultation with an allergist and pulmonologist
  2. Allergy diagnostics:
    • Allergy screening (testing for various allergens);
    • Allergen-specific diagnostics (dust, pollen, food, animal dander, etc.).
  3. Functional diagnostics:
    • Spirometry (assessment of external respiratory function);
  4. Treatment and prevention:
    • Allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT) — allergy treatment through administration of small doses of allergens;
    • Selection of pharmacotherapy for allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma, urticaria;
    • Day hospital care for therapeutic procedures.

   The physician develops an individualized treatment plan taking into account the patient’s age, chronic diseases, allergies, and overall health condition.

   Doctors of the Allergy Center have received training in clinics in South Korea, Germany, and Russia.
