Our history
The National Hospital of the Medical Center of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the oldest medical organizations in the country. The development history of the hospital is closely interconnected with the entire healthcare system of Kazakhstan. Today, the hospital is distinguished by its innovative approach to organizing patient care. It is here that many innovations in domestic and international healthcare are implemented, along with the most advanced methods of diagnosing and treating various diseases.
The healthcare system of the hospital meets international standards, as confirmed by the following milestones:
2005 – Awarding of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a group of employees;
2007 – Implementation of the international quality control program “EQAS” (USA);
2007 – Obtaining the “LONET” quality certificate (Switzerland), as well as certificates from the “Russian Register” and the “Kazakhstan Center for Quality,” confirming compliance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management system standards;
2008 – Awarding of the “European Quality” recognition;
2008 – Recognition of high-quality medical services by the European Business Academy (Oxford, United Kingdom).
In 2021, the National Hospital passed national accreditation in accordance with the rules and requirements of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan for a period of 4 years and achieved one of the highest scores in the country.

2015 – JCI Accreditation. The Joint Commission International (JCI), based in the United States, is an organization that improves healthcare quality and patient safety worldwide through international accreditation. JCI is considered the gold standard of quality for healthcare institutions, helping to enhance patient safety, improve treatment quality, and strengthen trust among patients, society, and insurance companies.
2017 – As part of a group of Kazakh scientists, a hospital employee received the State Prize named after Al-Farabi for a series of works on “Evidence-based methods for ensuring active longevity.”
2018 – JCI Accreditation. The National Hospital confirmed its compliance with international JCI standards for the third time. Joint Commission International accreditation is the highest indicator of healthcare quality, patient safety, and the application of modern treatment methods.
2018 – National accreditation. Based on the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Public Health and Healthcare System,” external comprehensive assessment results, and the decision of the Accreditation Commission (Order No. 180-n), the hospital was accredited for 3 years with the highest category.
2021 – JCI Accreditation. The National Hospital once again confirmed compliance with the international JCI quality standard. JCI accreditation is the highest indicator of medical service quality, patient safety, and the use of modern treatment methods.

Purpose of the National Hospital
The main purpose is to organize high-quality primary healthcare, emergency and urgent care, specialized and highly specialized medical services for the attached population, and to ensure competitiveness in the public and private healthcare market.
The National Hospital is a multidisciplinary clinic providing healthcare services to government employees and certain categories of citizens attached to the Medical Center within the guaranteed volume of free medical care funded by the state budget, as well as providing inpatient high-tech and specialized medical care to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the state order of the Ministry of Healthcare and on a paid basis.
