About the Department:
The Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Intensive Care (ARIC) is a key multidisciplinary unit of the hospital, providing 24/7 anesthetic support for surgeries and procedures, as well as emergency and planned resuscitation for patients in critical, life-threatening conditions. The department restores and maintains vital bodily functions (respiration, circulation) using modern equipment and advanced medical techniques.
Anesthesiology Services:
Preparation and administration of anesthesia: General anesthesia, regional anesthesia (spinal, epidural), intravenous anesthesia, mask anesthesia for surgeries, childbirth, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures;
Postoperative care: Recovery from anesthesia, intensive therapy, and pain management during the postoperative period;
Procedural sedation: For painful or lengthy procedures.
Resuscitation and Intensive Care Services:
Restoration and maintenance of life functions: Mechanical ventilation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);
Monitoring: 24/7 monitoring of blood pressure, heart rate, respiration, oxygen saturation, and other vital parameters;
Intensive therapy: Treatment of severe trauma, poisoning, sepsis, acute kidney or liver failure;
