About the Department

   The Emergency Medical Services Department (hereinafter referred to as EMSD) is a structural unit of the hospital established to organize emergency medical care for the attached population of the Medical Center of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as for patients on a contractual and paid basis.

   In its daily activities, the EMSD is guided by the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Public Health and the Healthcare System,” regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regulations of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, orders of the company’s President, accreditation standards for medical organizations approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, internal quality management system documentation, and the requirements of National Accreditation and JCI (Joint Commission International) standards.

   The modern Emergency Department provides 24/7 emergency medical care using Class “C” and Class “B” intensive care ambulances fully equipped with advanced medical equipment. Physicians and paramedics are highly qualified (first or highest professional category, with more than 10 years of experience), ensuring professional diagnostics, intensive therapy, and safe patient transportation.

   Services

• Social support and medical transportation of patients (from home and/or hospital to another medical facility, railway station, airport, place of residence, or treatment facility);
• Medical escort services;
• Procedure services (ECG, glucometry, all types of injections).

   Equipment

   In terms of technical equipment, the department operates two Class “B” ambulances:

1. Ford Transit (2019 model) — fully equipped with medical equipment.
   The vehicle undergoes technical maintenance once a year.
2. Hyundai H-1 (2014 model) — fully equipped with medical equipment.
   The vehicle undergoes technical maintenance once a year.
