The sounds of dombra and sonorous songs attracted the attention of patients who came to the polyclinic of the National Hospital, as well as employees who performed their daily work.
In honor of the National Day of Dombra, children of the hospital staff performed kui and showed their art. Sofia Roy, a 4th grade student, has been studying in the dombrovy circle for only six months. During this time, the diligent girl has already learned 7 kyui. She confidently and freely performed the kui "Yerke sylkym" and "Kelinshek", which delighted the audience.
And 9-year-old Batyr Baktybek took dombra in his hands at the age of five.
& #8212; All my maternal relatives are creative people, and my grandmother was a kuishi. I guess I got it from them. I have now learned about ten pieces. I perform kui Kurmangazy, A. Zheldibaev, S. Turysbek and other composers. I love sports, and I want to become a football player in the future, " says Batyr.
Students of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, as well as artists of the traditional Art Theater "Alatau"took part in the event, which was held in the hospital, along with schoolchildren. The audience greeted the performances of young and professional performers with stormy applause.
The concert, organized by the chief mentor of the National Hospital Saule Mardenova, showed the interest of children of different ages and nationalities in dombra.
The National Day of Dombra has been celebrated since 2018 on the first Sunday of July. This holiday not only exalts the national instrument, but has also become a nationwide event that strengthens the unity of society.
