OUR HISTORY
RGP National Hospital is one of the oldest medical organizations in the country. The history of the hospital's development is inextricably linked with the entire healthcare system of Kazakhstan. Currently, the hospital is distinguished by an innovative approach to organizing the treatment of its patients. It is here that most of the innovations in domestic and foreign healthcare are implemented, and the most advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment for many types of diseases are introduced.
Our story in numbers:
1929 – Opening of an outpatient clinic for employees of the Council of People's Commissars (the beginning of the history);
1931 – Opening of the surgical department;
1939 – Opening of the X-ray room, sanatorium department, and mud baths;
1946 – Renamed to the Hospital of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR;
1965 – Opening of the emergency department;
1969 – Opening of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation;
1972 – Opening of the ENT department;
1977 – Creation of a unified clinical diagnostic laboratory;
1994 – Opening of a department for servicing diplomatic missions;
2009 – Opening of the surgical center;
2011 – Opening of the cardiology center and the interventional cardiology center;
2012 – National ISO accreditation;
2015 – JCI Accreditation (updated in 2018, 2021, 2024);
2016 – Opening of the neurosurgery department;
2017 – Transformation into a joint-stock company, implementation of primary healthcare within the guaranteed volume of free medical care;
2019 – Opening of the oncological surgery department;
2022 – Opening of the arrhythmology center and the Parkinson's disease treatment center;
2023 – Rebranding — JSC TSKB was renamed the National Hospital and received the status of RSE on REM;
