One of the large-scale events held at the National Hospital in order to support the state language policy and improve the language competence of the staff is passing testing in the "KazTEST" system.
According to the established annual tradition, from June 9 to 30, employees of administrative, managerial, engineering, economic and auxiliary divisions passed official testing according to the national system "KazTEST", designed to assess the level of Kazakh language proficiency.
According to Aigul Oten, a specialist in the development of the state language at the National Hospital, the main feature of this test is that it involves not only medical workers, but also employees of all structural divisions that ensure the smooth internal work of the institution.
In accordance with the rules of the KazTEST system, participants ' language skills were evaluated comprehensively in three main sections.
The Listening section tested the ability to perceive spoken language, understand audio texts, and accurately convey their content. The lexico-grammatical section assessed the level of proficiency in the structure of the language, knowledge of the rules for combining words, and competent use of official business vocabulary. In the "Reading" section, the skills of quick and correct analysis of information when working with texts of various styles were tested.
The event was attended by 240 employees. Conducting such testing contributes not only to the competent management of official documentation within the institution, but also to strengthening the status of the state language.
