   About the Department:

   The Cardiovascular Department has been operating since January 2025. Prior to this, it functioned as three separate units: Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery Center, and Interventional Cardiology.

   Thanks to the high qualifications of our specialists and modern technical equipment, we successfully perform surgeries on patients with severe cardiovascular conditions, including cases with comorbidities such as renal failure, pulmonary diseases, cerebrovascular disorders, and oncological diagnoses.

   The department conducts surgeries for patients with ischemic heart disease, both open-heart procedures (aortocoronary bypass using autovenous grafts, 3–5 grafts) and minimally invasive methods (coronary angiography, coronary artery stenting).

   Each year, our physicians perform approximately 1,000 coronary angiographies (CAG) and over 300 coronary artery stentings, providing timely care both in planned procedures and in acute cardiovascular emergencies.

   The department also performs procedures for various cardiac arrhythmias — cryoablation and radiofrequency ablation — effectively eliminating arrhythmia foci and restoring normal rhythm without open surgery, as well as implantation of all types of antiarrhythmic devices.

   Our vascular surgeons perform various procedures for peripheral artery diseases and venous pathologies.

   28. Aorto-femoral bifurcation bypass;

   30. Cross-excision of GSV, SSV;
