On April 27-29, specialists of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Abai region, aimed at providing practical and educational support to the regional health care system. The events were held within the framework of the implementation of a memorandum of cooperation with the regional akimat.
As part of the delegation, the doctors of the Medical Center Hospital and the National Hospital held 37 consultations for residents, performed 10 high-tech surgical operations, and also organized 20 training seminars and master classes, in which more than 500 medical specialists took part.
The Center for Medical Technologies and Information Systems organized a trip to the Abai region in order to develop partnerships with educational institutions and promote its services. Meetings were held with representatives of the education system, service, communication and HR solutions were presented; as a result, cooperation agreements were reached, requests for services were received and commercial proposals were sent. About 40 people took part.
Within the framework of the event, specialists from the Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise held three online seminars on food safety issues: allergens and DNA falsification, radiation safety and chemical indicators of products. The training was attended by food industry specialists – a total of 32 participants were covered, which made it possible to increase the level of professional competence in the field of sanitary control.
Employees of the Okzhetpes sanatorium held a meeting with representatives of medical trade unions, where they presented the possibilities of sanatorium treatment, health programs and conditions for staying in the united network. Particular attention was paid to innovative and traditional treatments, including GI therapy and naphthalane procedures, as well as accessibility and benefits.
The main purpose of the visit was to expand the access of the region’s population to specialized medical care, introduce and replicate best clinical practices and organizational approaches of the Medical Center, as well as improve the qualifications of local specialists and develop interdepartmental interaction through the exchange of experience and modern technologies.
