The ninth Almaty Half Marathon set a record for the number of foreign participants. There were more than 800, mostly from Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Also, participants from China, USA, Great Britain, Ukraine, Belarus and other European countries, Asia, America and the Middle East took to the start.
This confirmed that Kazakhstan is one of the centers of international sports tourism.
In total, more than 10 thousand athletes fled, including our employees: the head of the endoscopic department Shokan Sekerbekov and the endoscopist Gani Turebekov.
Every year our employees take part in marathons and show by personal example their commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
– The marathon makes it possible to test your form and recharge, since so many healthy people are a real drive! – Shokan Sekerbekov shared, – But it is necessary to prepare for this race.
By the way, a marathon will be held on May 5, in which people who have undergone heart surgery will take part.
