The National Hospital of the Medical Center of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to develop a modern nursing system focused on improving the quality of medical care and introducing a patient-oriented approach.
Today, the nursing service of the National Hospital is not only a system of control and organization of patient care, but also a full-fledged direction, including scientific activity, the introduction of modern technologies, internal audit, preparation for accreditation and the development of professional competencies of medical personnel.
The structure of the service includes nursing managers in surgical, therapeutic and other areas, as well as internal audit specialists. Particular attention is paid to issues of patient safety, standardization of care processes and prevention of complications. In particular, the hospital has introduced a system for accompanying patients with a risk of pressure sores. For this, a multidisciplinary team has been formed with the participation of nurses of various profiles, physiotherapy and physiotherapy specialists.
According to the National Hospital, thanks to systematic work, it was possible to achieve a zero rate of pressure sores in the hospital, as well as significantly reduce the number of complaints and complaints from patients.
At the same time, work continues to improve the qualifications of nurses. Over the past two years, the level of education of nurses has grown by 31 percent. More and more specialists receive a bachelor’s degree, which contributes to strengthening the professional status of nursing and expanding the competencies of employees.
The National Hospital notes that modern approaches to the development of nursing services are already influencing not only the internal processes of the institution, but also the formation of new standards of medical care in general. Nurses are actively involved in the work of interdisciplinary teams, discussing treatment tactics and improving the quality of service based on patient feedback.
On the eve of International Nurses Day, the National Hospital stressed that it is the attention, responsibility and daily work of nurses that remain an essential part of the health care system and the patient recovery process.
