Since the beginning of the year, over 600 patients have been treated in our hospital. They come for therapy, oncosurgery, neurosurgery and dentistry services. Foreigners note the high level of Kazakhstani medicine at relatively affordable prices. These are mainly citizens of Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Germany, but participants were also treated from such distant countries as Australia, Great Britain, Spain, Canada, the Philippines, Great Britain and Switzerland.
“For foreign clinics, we are no longer a dark horse, but equal colleagues who can not only be treated, but also gain experience,” said the neurosurgeon of the Presidential Administration Hospital Shayakhmet Shorekhanuly. “Only the doctors of our department, for example, this year published four scientific articles in international medical publics, which means that now our experience will be applied all over the world. We acted as speakers, not just listeners, at prestigious neurosurgery conferences and forums.
The neurosurgeon himself had just returned from Spain, where he conducted his three-year study on vascular repair during a stroke, and before that, he had been practicing and shared his experience in Dubai and Japan.
– It is important to identify a stroke, not to confuse it with another disease, because often the sick method lie down, drink a pill, lower blood pressure, with a stroke it is important not to waste time. And firstly, what ordinary people should know is to fix the front thresholds, because exactly four hours are allotted to save a person’s life. In Spain, even cartoons are shot for children, because strokes happen more often with older people who sit with their grandchildren.
On average, the doctor performs various operations per year, one of which is the transsfeidal removal of tumors through the natural nasal passages. Previously, such operations are carried out only with craniotomy, he also shows this method to foreign colleagues.
