   About the Department:

   Surgery Department No. 2 is an integral part of the surgical service at the National Hospital, combining ophthalmology (eyes) and ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialties. The department specializes in comprehensive treatment of diseases of these organs, including both conservative and surgical methods, and is equipped with modern tools for microsurgery and laser interventions.

   The department performs operations using minimally invasive and endoscopic technologies, ensuring precision, minimal trauma, and rapid recovery. Ophthalmologists provide surgical treatment using advanced microsurgical and laser techniques, allowing for high accuracy and stable outcomes.

   The department offers a range of intraocular lenses, including premium optical solutions. Lens selection is personalized based on age, coexisting conditions, and the individual characteristics of the patient’s eye. Surgeries are performed in accordance with clinical protocols and standards, using modern equipment and materials. Procedures are available under government programs, with the option for premium lens implantation at the patient’s request.

   The ENT division performs procedures such as endoscopic removal of polyps, cysts, and foreign bodies from the nasal sinuses, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, septoplasty (nasal septum correction), functional rhinoseptoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery using shavers, as well as hearing improvement surgeries under endoscope and microscope, and laryngological surgeries.

   ENT specialists in our department provide a wide range of diagnostic, operative, and conservative treatments for contemporary ENT disorders using advanced ENT equipment.
