In our hospital, neurologists, upon admission, even test patients for depression as a second disease in order to initially adjust therapy:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0&#8212; Depression and anxiety create a very large background for many diseases, with it all diseases proceed brighter, &#8212; commented neurologist Gulnar Isakanova, &#8212; This condition provokes migraines, pain, dystonic disorders, causes sleep and appetite disturbance, fatigue, reduces the quality of life. It can even cause Parkinson&#8217;s disease, dementia, as it leads to the death of neurons. That is why it is necessary to treat depression, as well as sleep disturbance. In some countries, people do not have the right to drive if they have insomnia.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0At the initial stage, depression is diagnosed by a general practitioner and neurologist, but the decision to issue a sick leave is made by a psychotherapist and psychiatrist.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0&#8212; The first signs of depression are considered to be low mood over the past two weeks, decreased thought and motor activity, loss of interest in life, social isolation, thoughts of death. This is what we identify in the tests.
