A seminar “Modern methods of prevention and treatment of peptic ulcer disease in patients” was organized at the National Hospital of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administration for junior medical workers. Nurses working in the hospital of the Medical Center of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, specially arrived in Almaty. Specialists: senior nurse of the therapeutic service Aigul Rakhimova, senior nurse of the ARHT department Kundyz Zheksembaeva, senior nurse of the cardiology department Irina Vnukova, senior nurse of the endocrinology and palliative care department Gulnur Kuzenbaeva spend two days practicing with senior nurses of the National Hospital has changed.
– This two-day course was a great experience for me. Despite the fact that I have known for a long time about the prevention of pressure ulcers in patients, now I have received a number of information about their treatment without complications and modern methods of treatment. In the future, at such courses, it would be advisable to study such topical issues as caring for patients in difficult situations, advanced methods of organizing palliative care, effective interaction with relatives of patients, correct maintenance of nursing records, says the senior nurse of the therapeutic service Aigul Rakhimova.
Nurses visited the therapeutic, surgical, resuscitation departments, examined medical equipment. The doctor, together with specialists, visited the patient’s house and got acquainted with his condition. On the two-day course, nurses who received new information and replenished their experience were awarded special certificates.
