The chefs of the National Hospital prepare diet food for patients exclusively in a good mood and… song. Even the hospital menu helps to make them tasty. The cooks Aida Torgautov, Zhanar Abdildaev and the distributor Kazakhgul Mukamanova sang in the kitchen.
They have been working in the hospital for more than a quarter of a century. During this time, a lot has happened both in the hospital itself and in the country as a whole, but the repertoire has always remained unchanged – Kazakh popular, Soviet, childish songs. Both hospital staff and patients sometimes run to listen to them.
– The preparation of any food should take place in a good mood, and even more so for sick people, so we sing so that kind words and thoughts are transmitted to our patients, – said Aida Torgautova, – Nutrition has features, it has little salt, sugar, no spices, but, nevertheless, we do it tasty, no one has complained yet. I think the secret is in our songs.
This year has been declared the year of working professions. The cook is one of the most sought-after in Kazakhstan.
– The main qualities of a successful cook are patience, modesty, rigor, discipline, acceptance of the hierarchy, the ability to work in a team, delegate authority, stress resistance, good physical condition, creativity, and optimism, of course, – continued Aida Torgautova.
