   Ahead are the long-awaited New Year holidays, as a rule, for all peoples of the world, they are accompanied by abundant feasts. This is how people try to set themselves up for prosperity in the new year. However, often the very first morning of the new year, which met with wishes for health, happiness and peace, can result in problems with digestion, headache and hypertension. This happens because people eat at night, which is already stress for the body, and then everything that is not enough at night is eaten on other days and, as a rule, the food is no longer fresh. In order to reduce the burden on the body, the gastroenterologist of the National Hospital of the Presidential Administration Lyazzat Kazanbaeva recommends:

  • Do not starve all day to throw on food at night.
  • During the feast, try to eat in small portions, do not mix everything, eat consciously, without distraction.
  • Avoid fatty and fried foods, there are wonderful festive menus for a couple, popular mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream, yogurt or excluded altogether.
  • If you cannot completely give up alcohol, try to mix it with water or other drinks, as well as food, so that it does not irritate the mucous membrane. Water saves from dehydration and improves digestion.
  • In order to avoid problems with the gastrointestinal tract, it is better to take enzyme preparations, they can be taken either once or several days, but in case of pain, you should still consult a specialist.
  • After a plentiful feast, physical activity is necessary, be sure to walk, move, and dance.
