In October, the global Pink October initiative takes place around the world. It is dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer, its prevention, diagnosis and treatment. According to WHO, 43,250 women die from this disease every year in the world. On average, up to 5,000 breast cancer patients are registered annually in Kazakhstan, up to 1,200 women die. However, with timely diagnosis and detection of the tumor process today, it is possible to save lives in 95% of cases.
