– Currently, statistics of heart disease cause anxiety among specialists. About 600 thousand people are diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases in the country every year. In recent years, the number of patients has been increasing. The number of young people suffering from this disease has increased, says Aidana Lepesova, a cardiologist and doctor of functional diagnostics at the National Hospital with a 95-year history.
Aydana Sarsengalievna graduated from NSU. S. Asfendiyarov from 2010 to 2017 and until 2020 studied at the residency of the Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Medicine. After studying, he worked in a multidisciplinary hospital in the city of Kaskelen, Karasai district. Since 2022 he has been working at the National Hospital.
– The heart is the “driving force” of human life and the most important organ. Therefore, I was very interested in his research, methods of treatment. So I chose this industry. Among heart diseases, arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, stroke and heart attack are most common. People often do not notice heart disease. In the presence of chest constriction, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, fatigue, swelling of the limbs, you should immediately consult a doctor, says Aidana Sarsengalievna.
The doctor also emphasizes the need to prevent heart disease and take precautions. Healthy diet, constant physical activity, blood pressure control, quitting smoking and alcohol – the key to your health.
– The doctor must study and search all his life. It is important for me to participate in international cardiac congresses-seminars and improve my knowledge. In the future, I dream of exchanging experience in leading cardiac centers in Europe, says Aidana Lepesova.
