The neurosurgeon of our hospital, Shayakhmet Shorekhanuly Mahanbethan, together with colleagues from the National Center for Neurosurgery, takes part in the World Stroke Congress 2025 in Barcelona. This is one of the largest international events in the field of neurology and neurovascular surgery, leading specialists, researchers and clinicians gather to discuss the latest achievements in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of stroke, as well as exchange experience and advanced scientific developments. For example, neurosurgeons evaluated the benefits of VR glasses, which show illustrative cases from the life of patients from the very beginning of their hospitalization to discharge from rehabilitation.
Our doctors are not just ordinary participants, but make a presentation on the topic “Studies on five predictors associated with the results of revascularization procedures for acute ischemic stroke.” Scientific work is based on the first multicenter study in all regions of Kazakhstan.
All the knowledge gained will certainly be introduced into the work of the hospital.
