The study of the doctors of our hospital was presented at the prestigious 20th “The world congress on controversies in neurology” in Krakow. Congress gathers leading experts from around the world to share expertise in neuroscience. Our country was represented by a neurologist Gulnara Isakanova, who, together with the head of the Innovation Center of the hospital, Asia Isaeva, under the guidance of the chief physician Askhat Bralov, conducted a study of migraine. With the ID-Migraine tool, the hospital team screened among hospital patients and identified signs of migraine in about 33% of those surveyed. The data obtained actually confirm the world statistics – every third person can face migraine.
The report at the session on headaches in English aroused great interest among the participants, the doctors asked questions about the details of the study and the possibility of using its results in their practice.
