Together with the neurosurgeon of the Neurosurgery Center in Astana, Ph.D. Teltaev Daniyar Kerimkulovich, within the framework of a memorandum between the National Hospital of the Medical Center of the UDP of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Center for Neurosurgery, a joint operation was performed: transnasal-transsphenoidal removal of hormonally inactive pituitary macroadenoma.
The operation was performed using a 4K endoscope and specialized microinstructions (microcurets, aspirators, high-speed diamond burs, etc.).
The peculiarity of this approach is that surgeons get to the tumor through the nasal passages without incisions on the face and skull. This reduces injuries, speeds up recovery and makes treatment safer.
On the second day, the patient became active – she gets up and walks, the hemodynamic and hydraulic balance indicators remain stable.
Modern technologies and collaboration allow patients to return to an active life faster.
