Since 1996, Marzia Ansaganovna Bulatova has been working as a nurse at the National Hospital of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administration. The veteran of the December events at that time did not refuse treatment after receiving an offer of service. On December 17, 1986, Marzia Ansaganovna, a second-year student at the Almaty Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, entered the square with other young people. Young people who sang and talked to each other were sprayed with hot water in the evening and kicked out of the square.
Girls and guys running around the sides fell on the ice… Two guys descending Baiseitova Street and special forces chasing Marzia began to advance. The young girl pressed both hands to her with Kerz boots and broke her arms. They are dragged, put in a car and put in a pre-trial detention center. Not having received a proper response from young people, they are taken to a landfill outside the city. The survivors, accompanying each other, return to the city. After expulsion, Marzia Ansaganovna moved to the Zhambyl region. He worked in kindergarten for 10 years. Due to health reasons, in 1996 she returned to Almaty. Despite the disease, she graduated from a pedagogical school in Kaskelen. The selfless girl, who tried to justify her innocence, collected documents from the archives and was acquitted in 2016.
“It’s all in the past. I never regret giving up my health and losing my youth. The persistence and courage of the youth of that time remained in history. Justice was served. We have gained independence. Just be calm, says December veteran Marzia Bolatova.
