The National Hospital passed the fourth accreditation of JCI international quality standards. For doctors, this accreditation means the “highest level” of health care quality or the so-called “gold standard.”
-JCI in Kazakhstan has nine medical organizations, including the National Hospital and the Hospital of the Medical Center in Astana. I want to emphasize that this is the merit of the entire staff of the hospital, we are proud that for the fourth time we confirm the quality of our work before international auditors, – noted the head of the hospital Askhat Bralov.
These uniform standards were developed in the United States in 1995 by Joint Commission International (JCI). Now there are a thousand medical institutions in the world. Baseline parameters of the facility assessment include:
• quality of medical services and its stability;
• their safety for patients and facility staff;
• work on quality for the company on an ongoing basis.
We will tell you in more detail about what it means for a hospital to receive such accreditation and how this will affect the treatment of patients in the following posts.
