Today, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Key Issues of Internal Medicine” ended at the National Hospital. It took place over two days, with the participation of leading experts in the field of medicine in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Italy.
The organizers of the event are the Department of Internal Diseases of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov and the Public Association “Kazakh Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis” together with the National Hospital of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administration.
The conference provided a unique opportunity for doctors to discuss current trends and achievements in the field of internal medicine, exchange experience and knowledge with leading specialists.
The priority areas of her work were such issues as the introduction of clinical recommendations in pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, rheumatology, endocrinology, hematology, in case of accumulation diseases (amyloidosis, Fabry disease) into the real practice of the therapist; features of pharmacotherapy in patients with obesity and comorbid diseases, with weight deficiency, in fragile patients; venous thromboses (deep vein thromboses, venous sinuses, and pulmonary embolism); gastrointestinal bleeding against the background of antithrombotic, anticoagulant therapy; pregnancy and cardiovascular disease; antibiotic resistance and vaccination, among others.
Guest expert, professor at the University of Naples Plinio Cirillo will share with the participants his experience and the latest research in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases.
