Magnetic storms that hit the Earth affect the well-being of the population. On such days, doctors at the polyclinic of the National Hospital in Almaty register much more requests. People with cardiovascular diseases, as well as those who spend a lot of time at the computer, react most acutely to “solar depression.”
Everyone with chronic sleep deprivation, whose work is associated with constant stress, regardless of age, feels weakness, headache, irritability, drowsiness. Noticeably reduced performance, concentration of attention. Moreover, there can be a reaction to magnetic storms in both elderly and 15-16-year-olds, says therapist Zhadyr Mukhametrakhym: young people also have a jump in pressure. Often this is a consequence of excessive stress, lack of sleep, drinking coffee, energy drinks.
– Patients with arterial hypertension complain of an increase in pressure, uncontrolled even against the background of the use of drugs that help them every day, – the doctor notes. – In others, the headache is oppressive in the forehead, back of the head, weakness is noted, in general, the patient cannot fully describe his condition.
To minimize the influence of magnetic storms, the therapist recommends drinking more ordinary water without gas – it will help to cope with stress in the body. Get enough sleep (at least 7-8 hours), walk more in the fresh air. You can practice a contrast shower, which improves blood circulation. Eat balanced – less heavy, fatty food, lean more on vegetables and fruits (it is advisable to include nuts, bananas, which contain a lot of magnesium).
– Hypertensive patients should control blood pressure, take medications on time, avoid coffee, alcoholic beverages, stressful situations, reduce physical activity, – continues Zhadira Mukhametrakhym. – It is better to do light exercises, practice yoga. Meteorological teenagers, young people should also heed these tips, and even reduce their communication with gadgets to a minimum.
