Employees of the National Hospital took part in the fourth Republican forum of health care managers “Leadership and Sustainable Development,” it was organized by the Kazakhstan Association of Health Care Managers.
The forum was held with the participation of the head of the UN office Kurtmolla Abdulganiev, the head of the WHO country office Skender Sula, the deputy akim of Almaty Asem Nusupova, the vice minister of health Timur Sultangaziev.
The internal auditor of the Hospital Elmira Zabirova, who is also the deputy director of the Association, moderated the panel session “Practice of effective management: successful cases.” The speaker of this session, together with the managers of medicine, was the head of the neurosurgery department, Marat Sarshaev. He told the Forum participants about the role of the National Hospital in the development of the neurosurgical service of Almaty and how the department managed to become one of the leaders.
