Ekaterina Baranova is not only a war veteran, but also a hospital, for almost forty years she worked in it as a nurse.
Her life was never simple, she lived in a poor peasant family in Russia, went to school on foot for three kilometers, then went to study as a nurse, from 1943 to December 1945 she looked after the wounded in a sorting hospital on the 1st Ukrainian Front. I met the victory in Czechoslovakia with the rank of senior lieutenant of the medical service. After the war, she worked for 12 years as an operating nurse at the Military Hospital and 39 at the National Hospital. At 74, she put droppers the best. Even after the onset of retirement age, for another 20 years she was not sent to well-deserved rest for her skill. She lives alone in retirement, buried two husbands and a son. But never does this little woman despair. She will be one hundred years old in June.
