The National Kurultai – 2026 was held in Kazakhstan. During it, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev identified the main directions for the further development of the country. In his speech, the Head of State noted the importance of accelerated economic growth, modernization and digitalization of infrastructure, as well as the need to strengthen social support for citizens.
Issues to which the President paid special attention:
- expansion of transport corridors and construction of new railway lines;
- implementation of energy projects and strengthening the stability of the energy system;
- preservation of ecology and restoration of natural resources, including the Aral Sea;
- continuing public administration reforms, including the establishment of the institution of vice president;
- strengthening national unity, historical consciousness and patriotism.
The national kurultai has become an important platform for discussing priority tasks and developing solutions aimed at sustainable development of Kazakhstan and strengthening its position in the international arena.
