About the Department

   The Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory of the National Hospital is one of the largest multidisciplinary laboratories in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

   The laboratory operates in accordance with international quality and safety standards, confirmed by accreditation under the following standards:

• JCI (Joint Commission International);
• ST RK ISO 15189-2023.

   For more than ten years, the laboratory has continuously participated in international External Quality Assessment Schemes (EQAS) and national external quality control programs across various areas of laboratory diagnostics.

   The annual testing volume exceeds 1,600,000 laboratory tests, confirming a high level of trust from patients and clinicians.

Technological Equipment

   The laboratory’s technological infrastructure is equipped with advanced automated analyzers from leading global manufacturers, ensuring high accuracy, reproducibility of results, and reduced turnaround time.

   The laboratory utilizes:

• Cobas Pro (Roche Diagnostics) — a modular high-throughput system for clinical chemistry and immunochemistry testing.
• Sysmex XN-Series — an expert-level modern hematology analyzer.
• Beckman Coulter IRIS — an automated urine analysis system.
• Beckman Coulter AU480 — a high-performance biochemistry analyzer.

   The use of automated platforms allows the laboratory to:

• Minimize human factor influence;
• Ensure full traceability of tests;
• Comply with international quality standards;
• Guarantee consistency and analytical accuracy of results.
