He was born in the picturesque and at the same time harsh Zhualy district of Zhambyl region. Before linking his life with the army, he worked as a teacher, secretary of the district executive committee, financier, police chief. During the Great Patriotic War, Momyshuly was the only Kazakh commander of the division, starting with a senior lieutenant and ending with a colonel. He commanded a platoon, battalion, regiment and division. For the courage and heroism shown in the battle of Moscow, Captain Bauyrzhan Momyshuly was introduced to the title of Hero of the Soviet Union back in 1942, but he received it only after his death in 1990.
After the war, he continued to serve and became a writer, he is the author of tactical maneuvers, strategies, stories about the war, one of the popular books “Psychology of War” became a tabletop for many commanders. His works are stored in military educational institutions in the USA, Cuba, Israel, Nicaragua, where Momyshula’s military experience is studied separately. For many years he was served at the National Hospital.
