Astana hosted a unique international scientific and practical conference. Dozens of speakers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Georgia, Uzbekistan gathered at one site with creative medical reports in the spirit of the times: “Therapist as a moderator of the patient’s fate,” Nursing service: “Quality and safety in nursing; innovative approaches,” “Clinical detective,” “DNA of a modern clinic,” “The future of longevity – the use of stem cells,” “When blood tests surprise more than Netflix plots,” “Myocardium covered with silk,” “Divorce and maiden name: patient management tactics.”
The National Hospital presented a whole landing of leading specialists led by the head Askhat Bralov, who spoke about the history of the hospital from an outpatient clinic for workers of the Council of People’s Commissars and the Kremlin Council of Ministers to the flagship of domestic medicine:
“Today’s appearance of the National Hospital is: more than 11,000 treated patients and over 4,500 operations per year, of which over 600 are high-tech. 70% of patients are persons over 60 years old, 100 more centenarians are registered. In addition, more and more foreign medical tourists began to choose our hospital, this year there were more than 600 of them from the CIS countries, China, Germany, Turkey and even such distant countries as Australia, Venezuela, Brazil and Canada.”
Experts spoke about injection addiction, treatment of migraines with new methods, artificial intelligence in the work of nurses. Nurse Sandugash Manabova spoke about the AI project in the work of the clinic. The nurses used the Higo kit, which accumulates information about the patient, research results and allows contactless measurement of body temperature, heart rate, auscultation of the lungs, abdomen, visual examination of the ear, throat, skin, audio cough and remote diagnosis.
