– Knowledge of fire safety measures is the responsibility of any citizen. A sudden fire can lead to irreparable sadness. As a specialist in this field, I often tell colleagues, acquaintances, families and friends to be careful that children at home play with electricity, matches and water gas appliances, “says Yeskhat Toybaev, a fire safety specialist at the National Hospital with a 95-year history.
In 2010-2014 he graduated from KazNTU named after K. Satpayev with a degree in Life Safety and Environmental Protection. After graduation, Eskhat Kairatovich worked in such areas as fire safety, labor protection, technical safety, then worked as a fire safety engineer in the emergency department of the Almaly district of Almaty. A qualified specialist with little experience since 2019 has been working in the field of fire safety on the right of economic management of the National Hospital of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
– In order to prevent fire safety in the hospital, we conduct exercises once a year together with the Department of Emergency Situations of the city of Almaty. We explain to the medical staff and other employees what to do if the alarm bell is turned on and how to leave without panic. Hospital staff are responsible not only for their lives, but also for the fate of patients. The main goal is to save the patients, says Eshat Kairatovich.
